I hate Los Angeles. A lot.

So much so that I am willing to sacrifice a year of Non-Resident Tuition just to leave this summer.

But I stopped by the Transfer Office at West LA, who told me, in so many words, that that might not be the best thing to do for my already-ailing financial health. This coincides with my probation officer's recommendation that such a move may jeopardize my freedom.

Great.

So, for worse (not better by ANY stretch), I am stuck the fuck here until at least September.

I could really hurt someone right now, but that would jeopardize my freedom too.

So, failing in that, I look to my audience for solutions. I will be open to any and all suggestions for the things that currently piss me off about this crowded, smogged up ass place. Just to, at least, ease my pisstivity.

Here goes:

1. Too much traffic - this is anywhere, anytime. Yes even at 3 am there can be a traffic jam somewhere. Where are all these people going? Because that brings me to...

2. Everything closes at like, 12 or 1 o'clock. There are a couple of clubs that stay open later than that, but not by much. You would think this would be a 'dry' town (in the Prohibition sense). But that wouldnt matter anyways since...

3. The buses stop running when the streetlights come on. Ok, it just seems like that. I come from Chicago, where buses run all night in a lot of cases, and not just where the white people live. And, these buses are mad inconsistent, so it kind of forces you to get a car, but how can i when...

4. I cannot find a friggin job! I haven't worked since September, when I was let go due to my 'questionable' background. But damn if its not one thing its another, its either, you have a record, or, you have X type of offense, or, tu no hablas espanol, which leads in to....

5. Everything is in Spanish. Mexicans are everywhere. This isnt to say I am a racist or I hate mexicans or anything of that nature, but I am sorry, the Chicago Public School system did not prepare me for this!! I am used to being around a lot of black people, but the fact that....

6. There is no black people 'balance' is buggin me out (yes, buggin). Here in LA its like 2 main sets of Black people: They are either Bougie or Ghetto, hardly any in between, but both groups have one thing in common...

7. I have never seen more stuck up black people. I mean this is man, woman, child, gay, straight, rich, poor, whatever. It's unreal, you speak, like a 'hi' (or the lil 'wussup' nod bruthas do) and its like you done fucked up they day. And they all think they are better than someone else since they had the good fortune of being born in a place where it MIGHT rain 2 weeks out of the whole year. I have had 2 girlfriends in Cali, and they BOTH were from Chicago. LA women are about as deep as one of those old plastic kiddie pools... (ASIDE: not that i am some sort of deep philosophical person but damn can I get in one conversation that don't involve a car, money or someone's baby daddy/momma trippin? anyways...) I don't know exactly what that says, but I know this...

8. Everything is expensive. (okay that was a weak tie-in lol) But it is. My last 2 apartments were in shitty neighborhoods, both were 600 (One, a studio, with utilities, the other, a one bedroom WITHOUT Utilities). This may be the only place in america where you have to pay 300,000 to get a home with 2 bedrooms.

Okay, that's about it for now. I got out a lot of anger I think. so now I am open to any kind of suggestions that people may have.
