Welp...
I am back from my trip to Boston and New York.
Boston is boring.
Well, I did get to see MIT (thank-ya Martha for being such a gracious host) and Harvard, where they pee on statues and what-not. These are the future leaders of America, lol.
I went to New York and stayed at the Millenium Hilton Hotel, overlooking Ground Zero. That was so ominous its not even funny. 2 big ass holes. That's what it looked like. It was also pretty sad, as there were people outside the fence showing pics of what happened, saying, you don't have to buy, just look.
Saturday I ran around Times Square for a few hours before heading back to Bawston on the Chinatown bus. $10 bucks was not bad, and the trip was cool.
Sorry to all them people (well, 2) that I was gonna hang out with in the NYC. Y'a'll pay phones are garbage and Sprint decided they had enough of me using their service for free for all of 2 days and cut me off. I am just now picking up messages from thursday, lol.
I would have been in yesterday, but my flight got cancelled. Some valve or another that controlled pressurization and air conditioning went out, and no one had a replacement, so they kicked us off the plane, which was just as well cause that mufucka got hot, and there is nothing worse than hot white people... anyways, since they had to switch to a smaller plane to get people home, they needed volunteers to book a different flight. As incentive, those who did volunteer to get bumped got a free hotel for the night, free food and a $600 voucher for future travel, in addition to the flight home...
Guess who grabbed their boarding pass and was like, MEEEEEEE!
I was the last one in line too, but it was cool. There were more than enough seats left. I spent the night at the Comfort Inn in Revere, Mass. and ate at their lil I-talian restaurant, then got up and had some free breakfast.
In Other News...
I come back to HELL-A, and people are still on strike...
I saw the Matrix this weekend too, not a bad ending to the trilogy I guess...
I saw Legally Blonde and Legally Blonde 2 (NOT MY CHOICE). They weren't THAT bad, but they were a little TOO girly for me.
On my way to Boston, the movie was The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen, which was not that great. Or, it could have been way better than it was...
Ashanti still looks a hot mess, sorry...
Remember when I took The (non) Source to task for their so called exposing of 50 Cent? Welp, in this month's issue (with either the Lox or Westside Connection on the cover) they printed letters about that story. 9 applauded The (non) Source, and 1 kinda sorta criticized them. I think its all bullshit. The (non) Source probably got more letters than that, but they didn't have the balls to print them. They are not journalists, they are Cheerleaders. So I still say, fuck them.
Oh, and thanks for all the positive feedback about my script, an update will probably be posted tomorrow.
