Welp, Jacko is back in the news.
Craziness.
Sometimes, I think people mess with Mike J just because he is an easy target, and that kinda sucks for someone who has used his talent to bring so much joy to the world.
In Other News...
Props to Barry Bonds for winning his 6th MVP award.
Props to lil man Freddy Adu for signing an MLS deal (he's 14, and its soccer)
Whoever has Keyshawn Johnson in SCFL better drop him since he won't play another game for the Bucs, who de-activated him.
Oh, and the buses started back running today...
Posted by maximillian at November 18, 2003 11:25 PMWelcome Back Max =)
Something always seems to come out in the news whenever Michael has some new music out...
MVP... ugh I cannot stand Barry Bonds. I would argue that Albert Pujols was... granted I am bias as a Cardinal fan but come on now... number one in batting average, doubles, runs; fifth in rbis and home runs; and second in hits.
I guess if the Cardinals had made it to the playoffs, Pujols would have had a better shot at the award.
Posted by: nexy on November 19, 2003 11:26 AMThat Freddie Adu kid is pretty good from what I've seen....
As far as Barry Bonds goes I think Josh Beckett's stance says it all....if asked which one he'd rather face with the bases loaded he said without hesitation Pujols....old boy will win MANY MVPs in the future....but Barry Bonds changes the entire complexion of the game....pitchers will walk in a run to avoid an extra base hit at his hands....the only reason he didn't compete in the batting title race was the fact that he got walked a major league record number of times....don't forget he actually DID lead the league last year in hitting....the numbers he puts up are astounding when you consider that he RARELY gets a good pitch to hit....
Believe me, I HATED Barry Bonds when he played with the Pirates and when the Braves were in his division....but the guy is THE best player of the last 30 years and has a STRONG argument for greatest player of all time....you can throw the records of the Cardinals and Giants out of the window (although being the best player on a 100 win team goes a long way with some voters)
This turned into a rant...sorry....
Posted by: Calvin on November 19, 2003 12:33 PMThey need to leave that poor Michael Jackson alone. And what if he gets convicted... can you imagine that poor pale fragile man in jail?! He'll be somebody's bitch in 5 seconds flat. THAT CANNOT HAPPEN.
