The End..

This is the end....

The ending of may.... the end....

Maybe it would sound better if Jim Morrison actually sung it...

Or new American Idol Ruben Studdard...

This has by far been the most active month that I have posted at this site. I'm kinda proud of that.

I'd like to thank as inspiration:

Gemini's everywhere

Cinnabon

Starbucks

Hollywood Video

Intermediate Algebra Section 2, which meets MTWR from 11:10 to 12:35

My hatred of Jay-z aka Jigga-What, Jigga-BOO

And a host of friends, well-wishers, fellow bloggers and nosy people...

In Other News...

A full 1/3 of the NBA teams is looking for new coaches...

Philadelphia - Larry Brown resigned

Detroit - Rick Carlisle fired

Houston - Rudy T retired

LA Clippers - Alvin Gentry and Dennis Johnson fired

New Orleans - Paul Silas fired

Washington - Doug Collins fired

Cleveland - John Lucas and Keith Smart fired

Atlanta - Lon Kruger was fired, but his replacement Terry Stotts may not survive new owners

Toronto - Lenny Wilkens resigned

And the new Charlotte team - who knows yet...

Replacements?

Cleveland - Paul Silas

Detroit - Larry Brown (possibly)

Philly - has permission to talk to Mo Cheeks from Portland (I say, only if he brings Philly native Sheed with him)

That's it so far...

Do you know something else? leave a comment...

"I want your grandkids and great-grandkids to remember me and say, 'Wow, what a bizarre individual.' " - Mike Tyson.

GOTTA love em! lol

Here we go...

1. What do you most want to be remembered for?
The best President of the United States since Clinton... oops, did I say that out loud?

2. What quotation best fits your outlook on life?
Life's a bitch and then you die, that's why we get high, cuz u never know when you're gonna go...

3. What single achievement are you most proud of in the past year?
My Straight-A semester last fall

4. What about the past ten years?
Being on TV is always, ALWAYS cool....

5. If you were asked to give a child a single piece of advice to guide them through life, what would you say?
Take the money... you'll feel better later...

In Other News...

I got National Security on DVD, so we'll see wassup.

It's the weekend, and I will spend it editing a paper and graphing circles.

Gotta interview at the Ice Cream Factory Tuesday, so we'll see wassup there too.

My Man Mike T.

I haven't had a Tyson entry here in awhile, but since he is on TV continuing his *all together now* TRIP TO BOLIVION.... here we go...

I'm looking at The Pulse on Fox....

Man, I don't know...

Mike had a bad lawyer for the crime. You mean to tell me that a girl changes her pantyline and didn't replace it... if u thought u was gonna get raped wouldn't 'I started my period' be the perfect deterrent?

lol @ 'poor ignorant bastards'. Mike had it right. He was not getting off this one... not in Indiana...

I think Mike should have a new trial on this one... too much of that shit was awkward...

In Other News...

The Spurs won tonite.

Ugh.

I can't really be mad tho, because (ex-BULL) Steve Kerr came in and did his thing, no doubt.

Nets in 6. Dammit

Do you think more people voted on American Idol than in the last presidential election?

Check this convo out...

PamE: baby u making a fool of me. u got me sprung and i dont care who sees
PamE: from beyonce and jay's crazy in luv
Max: i'm sick now
PamE: lmao
PamE: what
Max: beyonce & jay-z
Max: yuck
PamE: lol
PamE: i know rite
PamE: me and eshah want jay
PamE: her more than me.. she luvs him
Max: *dry heaves*
PamE: the haterism must stop
PamE: lol

Am I wrong? I thought not...

Antwone Fisher

I saw it today.

To say that I was moved would kind of be an understatement. It was a very good film, no doubt. I saw a lot of parallels between him and myself.

Although, I wont be joinin no one's navy anytime soon....

But yeah like they were saying this past winter when it came out, every negro needs to see it.

In Other News...

I am still fighting with math.

I even decided to ask if there was a curve this time. He said, if no one does particularly well...

Lo, and behold... someone gets a 1-fuckin-00

Looks like we'll be making summer school reservations *sigh*

I can sit and start a novel and be done with it in a few weeks but can't fuckin graph?

Can someone tell me why exactly we need math anyway?

Birthday Wish II

This Birthday Shout is brought to you by the numbers 5 and 27, and the letters OJ....

Happy Birthday my nigga. More often than not, your sick sense of humor that Gemini's seem to share and matter-of-factness about shit has kept a Negro sane throughout what will no doubt be the most insane chapter of my life.

Thanks.

In Other News...

I am sitting here listening to Brand Nubian's Wake Up (Reprise In the Sunshine) and I am thinking, there was a time when hip hop sounded more like this and less like 'bling-bling'. Even the 'gangstas' at this point in time, most notably NWA and the Geto Boys had a twinge of 'Fight The Power'-ness to them.

Nowadays, it seems as though that is long absent from the mainstream. Even though there are groups like dead prez around and Mos Def, Talib Kweli n em still do their thing thru positivity, the militant-ness is missing, as if everything is ok now that hip hop is a billion-dollar industry.

It kinda reminds me of this anecdote my pastor in Chicago used to tell a lot. He said that there was this pastor and deacon sitting in the back counting money, and the deacon says, "Pastor, I guess we can no longer say 'Gold and Silver have we none'," then the pastor says "True, but we can also no longer say 'rise, take up thy bed and walk'"

I guess what I am getting at is that I think hip hop, much like the church, has lost a lot of its power due to prosperity. Money becomes the focus and the main things that these institutions were designed for take backseats to that.

I saw on Ricki Lake, girls that WANTED to be video hoes...

Pete Rock & CL Smooth's Straighten It Out is playing now.

Maybe I should stop hating or something. I mean, I don't think there's anything wrong with gettin ya shine on, but is that all there is? There was once a time where people in hip hop spoke about issues that affected everyday lives of the people, AND had solid commentary on politics and the like. These days, finding a rapper with more than a 3-syllable vocabulary is becoming increasingly rare. And PLEASE, don't ask them about any issues. It becomes 'not their responsibility'.

Since when?

Hip-Hop these days is like a voiceless generation. Almost like the ones that came before, their credibility is shot because they dont 'bling' or sold records or made any money. Little do the young ones know that BECAUSE these people paved the way the labels can take your 'Needing two purs' seriously.

I swear, if I ever decide to pursue a doctorate, I will become certified to teach hip hop history or something.

Maybe I am being too serious. But I love Hip-Hop and the elements, even though you will not catch me spinning on my big ass head or doing some ill shit with some Krylon, it all has love to me, for me...

Ok, let me catch a nap, then some SMOR'Z cereal, then crack this 2nd paper...

Birthday Wish

This is a Birthday shout to my man Calvin.

I consider him a friend even though we only know each other through modem/broadband lines and the (very rare) telephone conversation.

Nevertheles... this Heineken is for you!

In Other News...

I am finally going to finish my papers tonight. Really.

Larry Brown resigned as coach of the Sixers.

I, also will be looking for a BBQ to crash. After all, like Lucky said in Poetic Justice, "We all family"...

Keep The Streak Alive!

Ten in a row and counting!

Listening to 'The Walk' by The Time... pimp shit...

I just had one of those Starbuck's Double Expresso shot things.

I will be up a looooong time tonight/this morning...

And the clubs in L.A. close at/before 2am..

Not that I would be going, it's just the principle of the thing. It seems like there is never anything to do when I want to actually get out and do something late.

But it's ok, that means I can catch up on some work...

In Other News...

I hate the Spurs...

Since Ruben has been selected as the next American Idol, does this mean that big dudes is gonna make a comeback?

And is California the only place where you have to wait for ID in the mail? I mean I lived in Illinois and I always got my license/ID when I took the picture. When I was in North Carolina I got my ID in like 5 minutes. Here, I have to wait til they mail it, 4-6 weeks, like I was waiting for a Cap'n Crunch decoder ring, I swear that was like the WORST waiting time imaginable, that lil fine print that says (Allow 4-6 or 6-8 weeks for delivery...) and then when u finally get it you're wondering what the hell it was... OR... you get it and it doesn't look anything like the thing on the commercial...

Who's having a BBQ tomorrow? Am I invited? Please?

Movies

I rented a couple more movies...

Brown Sugar. This movie was iight I guess... kinda like Love & Basketball with a hip-hop background to it.

Undercover Brother. I thought that was pretty funny. I identify more with Conspiracy Brother though. You can find a conspiracy in anything if you look hard enough.

Next up, Knockaround Guys.

In Other News...

This is like the first time I have had an entry for every day of the week...

I STILL haven't written these papers. Ah well, I will do them tomorrow.

Friday... again!

Time for the Five...

1. What brand of toothpaste do you use?
I am a crest kid, all the way, if u seent me smile you know why...

2. What brand of toilet paper do you prefer?
I like Quilted Northern. 2-ply is the best ever

3. What brand(s) of shoes do you wear?
I am a Nike whore (about to get a new pair today), I don't wear ANY other sneakers. I am also partial to Timbs and for ass kicking days Gore-Tex...

I don't wear dress shoes so...

4. What brand of soda do you drink?
Whatever I feel like at the time, I don't have a real preference

5. What brand of gum do you chew?
Winterfresh. It used to be Bubble Yum but once it got over 50 cent a pack I was like, ummm naw...

I wonder is all of this based on marketing? None of my choices were unorthodox, so it probably is... ah well...

In Other News...

I saw Friday After Next for the first time. It was ok, a decent DVD movie, thats about it. Rickey Smiley was funny tho, and so was that fool wit the shotgun...

I should probably finally go see X2 this weekend. I been puttin it off.

I will do it after I study some math, as a reward or something.

Hotel California...

Mirrors on the ceiling/pink champagne on ice/and she said,"We are all just prisoners here/of our own device"

The first time I remember hearing that song was in 1982. I was in the 3rd grade and I was on my way to my aunt's wedding Thanksgiving weekend. It was one of the strangest trips ever.

It was like my third time to California. When I was 6 I came on a plane by myself (try doing THAT today...). The next year I went with my uncle. This particular year we went by car. 1 and a half days there, spent 1 full day, one and a half days back.

I heard this song at least a million times. I had no idea this song was about some sort of strangeness. But it caught on with me. I have copies of it on my compruta right now.

I just put it on one of my burnt CDs, so now this song will follow me some more.

In Other News...

The Pistons are about to get swept.

I have 2 papers to write and 2 books to read this weekend, so its just as well that OJ is not going to Vegas... I would be tempted to go along and susbsequently not get ANY work done.

I talked to one of my ex's yesterday. She damn near cussed me out about 'living on the edge', aka just steps before falling into the abyss, but never actually In it...

And who actually watches the Tony Awards??

mmmm... Cinnabons...

What's Next....

At this point I don't really know...

I did have something up here to the effect that I may go ahead and apply to other schools in my haste to escape from L.A..

But I am not sure thats the best thing. I mean, yes I hate Los Angeles with a passion but out-of-state tution is no punk. Plus, I am approaching my Student Loan ceilings faster than I anticipated.

But now the onus is on me to find a more permanent residence since I am not leaving within the next month.

I feel the winds picking up again, the sandstorm is picking up...

In Other News...

I was flattered yesterday when my english professor suggested that I need to be in Columbia's Journalism School (the Ivy League one). Sure, I said, if my PO would let me go...

Nah, I didn't say that.

Welp, lunch will be at Red Lobster today. I felt like having some skrimps...

RE-JECTED!!

Welp...

I did not get into the school. (Send all hate mail to Cal State Hayward)

Based on my eligibilty from high school (since I am a sophomore)

High School?

I'm so pissed right now that some high school shit is holding me back. I HATE community college. THAT's like high school all over again.

I have a decision to make. Really. Because if this is whats going to be happening then why waste my time with school?

What will most likely happen tho, is that I will be mad about it for a day or 2, complain about it to OJ on AIM for a couple hours, and then try to find somewhere else to go.

But it does complicate matters, as I have been living on the road for basically the whole semester, and for the past month in anticipation of being out (of Lost Angeles) a week after the semester ended, to start the quarter at Hayward.

Now, I have to try to find a fucking apartment. AGAIN.

God, I hate this place...

In Other News... Fuck it there is no other news today, I am nonplussed about this whole thing.

Going to Hometown/Old Country Buffet to kill some time and add a few fat cells... f'it...

My Fro

My 'fro is tight. I love it. But it is nothing like the 'fro I had back in like 1995.

I didn't cut my hair for like 6 months, then I had it shaped up and blown out. It was like WHOA. You couldn't tell me it wasn't the shit. It made everything better instatnly. My weed got me higher, my sex felt all good.

Then there was this girl who convinced me that cutting my hair would be a good move.

I told her to go away.

She said fine, but you will not be invited to my loft party looking like the last member of BONE thugs n Harmony (popular at the time).

Dilemna... do I comply so I can kick it at the loft? Or go home with my full head of hair, and smoke out to some bob marley.

I go to the homie and say, yo, fade me up...

Later that night, I go to the loft all glad n shit. I get next to ole girl for all of 5 minutes, as she spends the night in the arms of this Dread...

I was highly pissed that night... so pissed that I didn't even pay attention to the 6' amazon redbone who was trying to get next to me all damn night, that is until the cops raided the place...

To top it all off, I didn't get home til 10 AM, I go to sleep at 10:30 only to have moms bang on the bedroom door at 11 about cutting some damn grass...

Moral of the story: don't let some broad tell you how to cut your hair... shit...

My hair has never looked that great since... *sigh*

In Other News...

why did I do that to myself....

Matrix Reloaded

I went to go see it last night.

It felt like a long ass Philosophy lecture without my hippie-ass Philosophy professor. I swear it felt just like every character had their own little niche in philosophy.

I would have fallen alseep, but the fight scenes and the freeway chase kept me awake.

On a side note, I think it would be cool to jump from car to car like one of the agents did, like WHOA....

Was it worth the $9.50? Eh...

I won't spoil it, go see for yourself...

In Other News...

I hit a car today. Good thing I waas only goin like 5mph. There was no damage to either car, so I was like, *whew*.

Lakers... out

Sixers... out

Kings... out

I want to see a Mavericks-Nets final....

The Ducks are in the Stanley Cup Finals. I need to know how to get in on that action. If New Jersey wins, tho, they are a BRUTAL team who will hit you then put the puck in the net...

no joke...

Sprint cut my phone off. I was all surprised.

Cinnamon toast crunch..... need I say more?

I'd rather be eating something else but it's not readily available these days...

Baby Boy...

*Parental Advisory... Explicit Blog*

MANNNNNNNNNNN

I can't believe I wasted time on this shit.

Yes, I know niggas like all them (jody, sweetpea, rodney)

But damn, do that mean I wanna see they ass on the screen too?

What makes it bad is that its not like there was some sort of movement to curb this type of behavior n shit. As a matter of fact, shit has gotten worse from where I stand. So I can see where the old folk say that this movie glamorizes certain bullshit that black folk have to deal with as if shit is okay.

Okay, I am going to stop before I get some Tyrese fan real angry at me...

'Suck my fuckin' dick!'

'Yeah, that's how it starts'

- Detective Alonzo Harris in Training Day

Hopefully, it wont take as long for me to get to 100 as it did for me to get to 50.

The Lakers... *lol*

Training Day was a tight-ass movie. Denzel was psychotic as fuck!

Next up is Baby Boy (I'm watching HBO), I am going to try to watch it all tonight and give a decent opinion. But First...

The Friday Five!

1. What drinking water do you prefer -- tap, bottle, purifier, etc.?
Since living in L.A., bottled water is a MUST. I am diggin Sparkletts on that tip.

2. What are your favourite flavor of chips?
Sour Cream & Onion Pringles, and French Onion Sun Chips. I keep Tic Tacs around when I got em though.

3. Of all the things you can cook, what dish do you like the most?
Shrimp Alfredo Pasta... with Angel Hair... I can KILL it (I can substitute too)

4. How do you have your eggs?
Scrambled.... with cheese

5. Who was the last person who cooked you a meal? How did it turn out?
My friend Dr. J cooked some stir-fry veggies with a hint of olive oil, it was cool, though I am more of the Carnivore type...

Ok, Training Day just went off... time for Baby Boy...

Disparity...

If there was never more evidence in the disparity of my academic experience, it is here now.

As you know, yesterday I came away from my algebra exam with a hefty 54 out of 100. Had I more time I actually would have done better, since I made a lot of minor mistakes, but what can ya do.

But today I get back my second AA History exam, and on the essay part I get like 39 points out of 40. Add to that my recent English midterm score of 98 out of 100, and we have a trend going.

I think, and I may be going out on a limb here, I have a talent for writing.

My math aptitude, however, bites.

Knowing this, I am now using the Plato programs that the remedial (read: L A Unified School District Graduates) students use to shore up their math skills. I figure if I do real good on the Final, which is 30% of the grade, then I will maybe get SOMETHING decent out of the class.

Oh yeah, there is no curve because there is at least 3 asian students who score really high and wreck it for everyone...

Then I can go to (front-runner: Cal State Hayward) and finally finish this bachelor degree.

In Other News:

I think Philly will beat Detroit tonight, but the Pistons are tough at home.

Last night Robert Horry missed a shot he usually makes unflinching. Is the Laker Reign officially over? Probably not, as the Lakers will more than Likely win Game 6 and force Tim and the boys into some shit they not used to, a Game 7....

I am going to have a Cinnabon now. Too bad I have to go to like Century City to get it....

Isleys n em

I was in the middle of downloading music when I was like, let me download all the good Isley Brothers' slowjams.

Maybe this is a premonition of sorts, since I have no real use for a slo-jam cd of ANY type, but I remembered like about 14-15 songs (thanks to Calvin and OJ):

Voyage to Atlantis

Sensuality

For the Love of You

Make Me Say It Again

Spend The Night

Choosey Lover

At Your Best (You Are Love)

Hello (It's Me)

Don't Say Goodnight (It's Time for Love)

Groove With You

Between The Sheets

Contagious

Let's Lay Together

Tears

Footsteps In The Dark

If I missed any, let me know....

In Other News...

Yes, I failed the bloody math test (54 outta 100), but I was not the only one by far, as when I got my paper I kept seeing other 30-40 and 50 point scores. So while I am disappointed, it makes me feel better that I am not the only one struggling...

The Financial Aid office has Money for me, so I must claim it...

Lakers and Dallas will both win tonight...

Test

I took the math test today, and I can actually say I think I did okay except for one thing.

I ran out of time. Again.

I was thorough, though. Checking my work over and over to make sure I got the correct answers. But I used the whole period and didn't get to some of the problems.

But, if I passed, it gives me some hope that I can recover and get at least a C out of this course. I do NOT want a summer session full of algebra.

In Other News....

If I am going to be on the west coast (at least) 2 more years, it stands to reason that I should have more than 1 friend out here.

But I have created such a bias for all things Californian that it may not be possible. We'll see though, because I can't keep calling people back east when I have my free minutes, they all be Sleep! dammit!

The Anaheim Mighty Ducks are up 2-0 in the conference Finals... is the Stanley Cup coming to Cali?

God, I hope not...

Let me go get some pie...

Caramel Fraps Part II

First, let me say Happy Mother's Day to all the mommies!

Secondly, I think that I should point out that my love for caramel frappachinos started with my working days at eToys. There was a Starbucks across from our office, so I was there a lot on one of our extended coffee-lunch breaks.

They wrote my name on the cup and everything! lol

But yeah this has ben going on since 1999, so I am well aware of the addictive effects. And I don't care.

In Other News...

Philly and LA won, and Sacramento is pulling away.

I am going to study math for a long time tonight. I have a test in the morning tat will make or break my passing grade.

PRAY for me....

Executive Decision

I have decided to stop calling certain people.

Simply put, they don't call me. Ever.

If I have interaction with someone online or thru some other daily medium then that is okay. However, if I call you all the time and you can't call me at all, there is something wrong with that. It makes me feel as though my time is plentiful enough to waste talking to you, but not the other way around.

And as I type, the value of my time is going up...

In Other News...

I am almost a legal citizen once again, as my license is now re-instated...

The Lakers are in a world of trouble as Game 3 is tonight.

I think imma go see X-2 this weekend, and try to squeeze in Cowboy Bebop...

I needa girl....

Anytime you are thinking about the birthday of an ex passing that you broke up with like 5 years ago, it's time for a change.

When your LAST ex, from 2 years ago is outpacing you in ex's at a 4-to-none clip, something is wrong.

I think I have mentioned this before, but this is coming up on my 4th year in LA. I have had 2 women since I been here, which would sound good if the last one wasnt in like 2000 (my last ex wasnt even from here).

But yeah, this is a problem, and since now I have this hatred for all things southern californian, I don't know if I can correct it. It has gotten to a point where I can look at a woman and be like, yeah, she fine and all, but so what, fine women in LA are a dime a dozen in some areas.

And they all think the same and have the same conversations.

Or, maybe, as someone pointed out, I am being way too picky.

In Other News:

I went to the valley tonight to this place called Family Fun Arcade. It was a cool set-up, with most of the fighting games situated so that one person sits on one side of the room and the other sits on the other side.

I took a whole lotta beatings though. That was not cool.

The Lakers took a beating too, so I feel better, cept that it was the F'in Spurs....

And why is this dude sittin in the net cafe at 1 in the mornin with a cockatoo on his shoulder?

GET OVER HERE!!!!

I love video games, but I am without the latest generation (PS2, Gamecube, Xbox) so every now n then I hit an arcade... and since I am here, here are highlights of my most recent Arcade junket....

Played Ultimate Mortal Kombat as part of my old school swing.... I made it to the second Endurance round where Ermac and Jade whooped my ass...

Got down on Tekken 4, and lost in the first round... twice.... yes... I suck... this is what I get for playing with an old man in a diaper (Heihachi)

I played this new japanese game that had a actual (plastic) sword you could swing around and slice people with. THAT shit was pretty cool.

On Street Fighter III I am UNBEATABLE, repeat, UNBEATABLE... until I get to the last dude named Gill, who is half-fire, half ice, with a thong on...

Soul Caliber II is tight, and I got pretty far with Taki, whose quick strike moves I prefer over, say, Nightmare's big-ass sword

Can I just say that Dance Revolution is addictive? I can? okay...

I did my requisite Marvel vs Capcom 2 thing, and the Capcom vs SNK 2 thing also. I love fighting games, so much so that I have The King Of Fighters loaded onto my phone, lol

But as soon as I come up on an xbox or something, all these net folk who have been shoveling shit my way will learn...

I am evil! I am AKUMA!!!!

In Other News...

First the Lakers. Then the Sparks. Next, the Galaxy. Then, the Angels and the Raiders.

What do they all have in common?

They all played in their sport's championship, and won (cept the Raiders)

Those teams are all in Southern California (cept the Raiders, who used to be)

Now, we have the Anaheim Mighty Ducks going into the Conference Finals, the L.A. Avengers of Arena-ball in first place, and the Lakers making another playoff run.

Why can't things like this happen in Chicago?

*sigh* I'm going to eat... Chicken, anyone?

Tennessee... Tennessee...

(kinda inspired by Raven's post)

Sometimes, I actually envy OJ and Calvin, and every other person that knows their dad. I tried to find mine earlier this year, to maybe make myself whole in a sense, maybe to ask why, again, because I still don't understand. We did talk about it when I was 18, but it was over the phone, so I couldn't really tell if he was lying or not.

He said that he was scared, for one, and 2, he wanted to live in the country, and my moms wasn't going for it. Well, moms did give country living a shot... for 2 weeks. She is just a city girl, so that was not going to work for her. He tried living in Chicago but it really wasn't his speed, so he left.

He hasn't settled anywhere since. Last I heard, he was in Minnesota, leaving behind my brother and sister in Tennessee somewhere. I often wonder if his wanderlust and not being able to stay in the same spot long is something I inherited. I have been in LA now for 4 years, which is VERY long for me and if it wasn't for state obligations, I would be long gone.

However, right before I came here to LA I went to Tennessee (Ripley) to see my grandmother, mainly because my own great-grandmother in Chi (RIP to Mother Dear) had passed on the week before, and I had no job (just got fired from the Chicago Mercantile Exchange, strangle me later) so I was on my way to North Carolina to start anew. But I decided I needed to see her first. She was so sweet, and I was amazed that she raised like 8 kids (my dad and his 6 brothers and 1 sister) in that small, small house. She even had the shoes from my last visit there, when I was 2 weeks old, and she kept every picture that my moms ever sent of me, so she never forgot. And as soon as word got down there that I was coming, ALL the cousins, uncles, aunts came out the woodwork to welcome me and they would say, yes, you ARE Howard's boy.

I felt immediately accepted, and contemplated staying around so that I could learn more, but I was on a tight schedule, so I had to leave after 2 days. I didn't get to see my brother or sister or dad, but maybe next time I can.

Well Well...

What A Difference a Day Makes...

Yesterday I visit my aunts to partake of their Digital Cable, when I check some old mail.

Looks like a school out here in Cali has put together a decent aid package, starting with summer.

I DID say that my decision to leave was malleable, so we will see...

It's Friday...

I ain't got no job...

And I ain't got shit to do...

Cept the Friday Five... LOL

1. Name one song you hate to admit you like.
That Jay-Z song with Pharrell - "Excuse Me". I am not a Jigga fan at all, but I will bob my head every time this comes on the radio. The "Ignition Remix" and "Beautiful" by Snoop get Honorable Mention.

2. Name two songs that always make you cry.
Purple Rain - probably because the movie was on when 'The Wifey' broke up with me. It put me into a Bill Dauterive state for a good 6 months....

Lately - the Stevie Wonder version. Goodbyes like that are always sad, and this is like, the Worst...

3. Name three songs that turn you on.
Adore - I am pretty dangerous with a phone and a tongue when this is on

12 Play - What can I say, the shit is step by fuckin step...

And any booty-house song with a girl's ass bouncing up against me... LOL

4. Name four songs that always make you feel good.

Bonita Applebum - Classic Tribe

International Zone Coaster - Classic Busta (with help from LONS)

Mary Jane - Rick James is a friggin GENIUS!

Gin And Juice - Laid Baaaack

5. Name five songs you couldn't ever do without.

Blame It On the Boogie - Michael Jackson

Words I Manifest - Gangstarr

Anything By Public Enemy up to 1993

Me Myself and I - De La Soul

Stoned is the Way of the Walk - Cypress Hill... one of my FAVORITE smoke songs...

I am bored, and I cannot at this point do too much math, so I am off to graph a few radical functions....

It's the 1st of the month...

Which means, contacting my PO. And continuing my quest for finding a decent apartment... but to kill time we have this...

OJ and I had a conversation on AOL that had us thinking that maybe Jay-Z had Biggie killt.

Why?

Well, for Jay-Z to be the King of NY, let alone Brooklyn, Big could not be there. Therefore, since people would be distracted by the east-west beef and would be automatically looking at Suge and Death Row as possible suspects, it would be easy for someone back east to set the whole thing up. Especially someone who was friendly with Big.

Enter Jigga. Like so many have said before (Tupac, Michael Corleone, Prince Machiavelli) keep your friends close, and your enemies closer.

Besides, with the police half-looking for whoever killed Pac, there would be little or no chance of whoever doing it being caught.

DISCLAIMER: This is all specualtive and has no basis in any real evidence or anything of the sort... or does it...

In Other News...

I hate Black Planet.

I'm sure somewhere along the way they had an ideal pictured as a place where people of color can really be themselves on the net or something, but with them taking down my picture of people picking cotton, I think they go too far, especially with the amount of sex that can be seen there...

I have made the malleable decision that by the time summer is over I am going to move away from Cali. I just can't take it anymore. Nevermind the stupid people I encounter on a daily basis, or the bad drivers, or the abundance (to a fault) of messicans, but I received a letter the other day that says simply I am not good enough to receive any school aid from this state. With a 3.1 GPA I find that suspect, and since I will get no more aid money for here whether I stayed or left, I may as well leave and be somewhat happy...

But it's time to get my snack on, so let me go...
