Finishing behind 'Uncommitted' were Joe Lieberman, Wesley Clark, Al Sharpton, and Carol Moseley Braun, who dropped out earlier in the week.
Now, what does all this mean?
It means that Kerry and Edwards have serious momentum heading into the next primary in New Hampshire.

Back home, I got up on a Saturday morning and turn on the TV. What do I see? A stepper's set in progress. I'm like, hmm, it's a lil early for that, but ok, its on a random channel (like 26 The 'U') so I let that slide.
Next, the hosts come on and mention something like Salaam entertainment.
So I say, whoa, NOI hosts stepper sets now? How uplifting. But I let that slide too, because Allah knows the nation cannot survive on bean pies and The Final Call alone.
But this last part is what kills it.
The guy hands over the mic to this white guy, who is really outta place. He announces that they are giving tickets away to the next set, so I'm like, alrighty then. Not only does NOI host stepper sets, but do so with white folk. So I am shaking my head, but intrigued.
Finally, as the white guy starts the Good Credit, Bad Credit, No Credit speech, it all comes clear. This was just an infomercial for a car dealership in the suburbs.

But, I got a winter session and a Spring Semeter to finish for a degree, so I need to put my petty dislikes about the southland aside and finish.
But then again, outside of the family and a few friends, there is not much going on here either, like someone said, you been gone for 2 years, its even worse when you consider that in 4 years I have been in chicago a total of like 3 weeks.
So, yeah, shit is gonna dry up after awhile. Bad part is, in the place I been the last 4 years, I don't have anything here, either. it has just been brought to my attention that this is a bad thing. Under normal circumstances that would not bother me, since I am hardly ever in the mode to 'build', as it were; I am always (until recently) in a constant state of movement and flux.
It kinda helped me out to keep moving, instead of sticking around, but thats going to get into other problems, so I'mma leave this be for now...

My time here in Chicago is almost up.
I must say that I am going to miss it here. I have done things here at home that I have not done in two years, like, drink a lot, eat Harold's, Giordano's, J&J Fish, Chinese Food with the fluffy Egg Foo Yong, Garrett's Popcorn and Jays potato chips (which reminds me, someone asked me to pick some up for them...).
I hung out with family n friends I ain't seen in years, cuz most of them can't or won't visit Cali.
What shocked me the most though, was during the first few days moms and I caught up on what has been going on in the family. Through this, I heard a lotta bad shit, like deaths, kids falling out wit parents, weird religious conversions, baby daddies n mommas all over again, you know, typical family drama for the most part now that I think about it. Quick Christmas 'wrap-up'... I got cash...
Birthday Wrap: I went to the boat to gamble.. There's 2 gambling boats that are right next to each other, the Majestic Star and Trump's boat. I got there and they were like, free drinks, but it was like soda n juice... SHIT
I am a nickel-slot fiend, don't know why though. But.. I did win like 2,000 nicks at once, like $100. so that wasnt bad.
Spent time with my friends, drank 2 of those big ass Long Island Ice Teas at Friday's, got the embarassing 'birthday' song. Got back to the Residence Inn and had that Hypnotiq-Hennessey thing, The Hulk, and some Chandon courtesy of Reddy, bullshitted all night and that was it...
Oh yeah the purple stuff in the other post was like, Hurricane, Remy Red, Remy Grape, Malibu and Hypnotiq.... something like that....
I'll probably kinda randomly finish this tomorrow or something...

The Shoe Nerds were out in force last night at Niketown, waiting to collect some more Air Force Ones....

I guess its like how people in Chi used to ditch classes to buy the latest Jordans... I got out of that quickly. Anytime I got a pair a week ago and because a different color came out, they are out of style? That's a lil TOO trendy for me, even if I COULD keep up...
I drove around the old high school. They have a track and a football practice field now...
They finished the last football season 0-8 and scored like 3 TDs...
ugh... do I HAVE to go back to Cali?
OH! I did get (conditionally) accepted to a school to finish undergrad..!

Happy New Year and all that. Time now for my first real entry in like what, 3 weeks? lol
It's about 5pm Central Standard Time, and I got a headache. Yes, I drank. A lot? Depends on who you ask.
I went out with Reddy to her friend's sister's house (I think). The food was nice and her and her husband were great hosts. We played this black version of jeopardy game and what-not, which was cool. I learned some things I did not know before, but our team lost. I tried to call a lifeline for our last question but it wasn't allowed.
After the Champange toast I played dominoes with 3 other brothas.
I dominated.
I won the first game and was well in control of the second when everyboday started watching that comedy DVD with DL Hughley, Sommore, and J. Anthony Brown n em. After that, another comedy DVD, Dave Chappelle's special on HBO, then I left.
What did Max drink? welp, some purple stuff, some red stuff, like 3 shots of bacardi O, and Reddy fixed me this martini thing, twice. I usually don't drink martinis but I made an exception cuz it was decent.
Then I went to Wal-Mart, bought more pajamas, and went home to wish my parents a happy anniversary in person.
It was 8:45 am when I got there. lol
All in all though, it was a decent night.
When I get back home, I will get to gettin about all the stuff I did on my Winter Vacation.

I am loath to wonder what crazy ass laws await my L.A. return, but now in the state of Illinois it is illegall to drive in the left lane of a highway for more than 1/8 of a mile.
